Olivia A. Wood

Hello! I'm a Lecturer in the English department at City College of New York (CCNY). Previously, I have worked as a Senior Digital Pedagogy Fellow for the OpenLab at the New York City College of Technology and an adjunct lecturer at Fordham University.

My research areas within rhet/comp include queer rhetoric, anti-ableist pedagogy, and rhetoric of the labor movement. I received my PhD in 2024 from the CUNY Graduate Center.

I'm from North Carolina, and I like fantasy RPGs, Italian food, and trivia night. If I try to share fun facts with you, it probably means I want to be friends.
